Description

• Uniquely designed wheelchair attachment that quickly and simply converts your wheelchair into a powerful electric 3-wheeler, giving you freedom to get about, travel and explore with ease.
• 12 inch pneumatic tyre is large enough to deal with bumpy and uneven ground whilst maintaining good traction, but also small enough to transport and store away neatly and easily.
• The slide and click mechanism, makes attaching and removing the device incredibly quick and simple. The docking plated can be fitted neatly and discreetly to the underside of any wheelchair. The initial Fitting the docking plate correctly.
• To connect the attachment you simply roll forwards guiding the wheelchair onto the docking plate till it locates and then push the handlebar forwards, raising the front of the wheelchair until it clicks, locking the attachment into place. You're then ready to drive at your leisure.
• Activated by a twist throttle on the handlebar, the powerful 500watt motor can take you up slopes and over rough ground and has a top speed of 25kmph.
• Easywheels has a tight turning circle which is useful in small spaces and makes manoeuvring easy.
• It has forward and reverse gears and 3 different speeds as well as a cruise-control setting.
• It is fitted with 2 disc brakes with levers on both handlebars so you can stop quickly and reliably.
• The LCD control panel is brightly lit and simple to operate.
• Powerful LED headlamp gives you excellent visibility at night.
• To disengage the attachment you push the handlebar forwards and press the release lever with your thumb to lower the front of your wheelchair back onto the ground, leaving the attachment standing in position ready for the next time you need it.
• The standard 12.8ah battery gives a range of around 60km and charging the battery takes approximately 6 hours. The charger plugs into a standard mains socket and the battery can either be removed for charging or it can be charged whilst on the attachment.
• USB port on the battery for charging mobile phones or other devices.
• Low capacity batteries of 6ah are available for air travel, which are allowed in the cockpit by airlines. The range with these batteries is around 30km and they are lighter and quicker to charge.

Warning

Easywheels electric wheelchair attachment is not safe for all wheelchair users. Like all 3-wheelers it can be quite unstable around corners, so you either need to slow down or lean into the corner to counter-balance. Therefore the user needs to have good co-ordination and balance and needs to drive carefully. We ask anyone purchasing our Easywheels attachment to sign a statement agreeing that it is the users responsibility to drive carefully and that MotoGlide is not responsible for any accidents that may occur.
